Give us a Mexican wave! One Direction lean out of their hotel room window to see their fans as they kick off North American tour
They had just one week off after the European leg of their Take Me Home tour before they jetted to the US.
But the One Direction boys looked completely refreshed and ready to do it all over again as they landed in Mexico City at the weekend.
Spotted leaning out of their hotel room windows, the British band waved at their fans who were waiting for them below, helping to catch a glimpse.
Clearly excited about the US
leg of their sell-out tour, the boys wanted to give their fans a little
extra treat ahead of the concerts.
While they might have felt tired after the long-haul flight, the youngsters certainly didn't want to take a nap, preferring to have a little fun.
Obviously disturbed by the commotion in the street below them, Niall Horan and Liam Payne were the first to rush to the window to see what was going on.
They were then joined by Louis
Tomlinson and a number of their friends who also rushed over to see,
snapping away on their phones.
Clearly in boisterous moods, the boys decided to head out onto the roof of the building to get a better view, and so that their fans could see them properly.
The three singers were joined by band-mate Harry Styles and they all started waving to the waiting crowd, although Zayn Malick had decided to stay inside.
Liam, wearing an Iron Man
T-shirt, threw his hands up into the air at one point, trying to a
provoke a reaction from their dedicated fans.
The boys rounded off the European leg of their tour with a concert in Lisbon at the end of May and all jetted back to the UK to enjoy some time off.
The day before they jetted back to the UK however, the band launched their debut perfume, One Moment, at a press event in London.
One Direction's first fragrance
is described as being 'vibrant and playful fruity floral,' and is a mix
of pink grapefruit, wild berries, redcurrants, jasmine, freesia, musk,
and patchouli.
'I had a little tester bottle and my mam is a big fan, so that’s all my Christmas presents cleared up,' said Niall.
