Take it she's a Game Of Thrones fan then! Jonathan Ross throws wife Jane Goldman a fancy dress themed birthday party

It's the TV show that has taken the world by storm, especially over the last week as the two final episodes of season three were aired.
And it seems one famous face is a particularly big fan.
TV presenter Jonathan Ross spent his Sunday holding a Game Of Thrones themed birthday party for his wife Jane Goldman.

He had completely decked his garden out to fit in with the theme of the epic fantasy TV drama.
And Jonathan fully threw himself into the party by dressing up himself - as elderly female character Lady Olenna, as you do.
The 52-year-old was obviously proud of his efforts as he posted a picture on Twitter posing in his frock and head dress.

He wrote next to the image: 'I am preparing for my lovely wife's #GameofThrones themed birthday party tomorrow. I have the best costume EVER.Doubt you can guess it...,' before he added: '#gameofthrones costume revealed. I am Lady Olenna!'
Jonathan even invited a number of his TV star friends to join in with the festivities at the garden party.
Comedian Jimmy Carr got involved by turning up in full body armour, while his wife Karoline Kopping opted for full period dress.
And even David Baddiel made an effort despite never having watched an episode (has he been hiding under a rock?)

Although the funny man certainly didn't go overboard with his fancy dress outfit, wearing just jeans and a T-shirt with a shield stuck to is top.
And he didn't mind making it known he was slightly out of his depth at the specialist themed bash - he wore a sticky note on his chest which read: 'Never watched it.'
Other guests were seen arriving in various medieval costumes, while the garden looked set for the Game Of Thrones theme.
Wooden barrels littered the grass and acted as tables, while a sheltered seating area mimicked the grand setting with fur rugs and draped curtains.

Jonathan even went to the trouble to make the food fit the theme.
He showed off a plate of cupcakes and wrote next to the picture: 'You eat or you die. #gameofthrones cupcakes!'
The birthday party came on the day fans watched the season finale of the hit show in America.
It was the week after the most talked about television episode in recent times.

But the Red Wedding look to be just a prelude to a far greater story if the season finale of Game of Thrones is any guide.
With the Night's Watch finally discovering the White Walker threat growing beyond The Wall at the north of Westeros, at the show's close it was clear The War Of The Five Kings was just a fleeting diversion from the true story at hand.
The revelation is made after the Onion Knight Davos Seaworth tells Stannis Baratheon about the Night's Watch's fateful message just after being condemned to death.

When he consults his adviser Melisandre, who is a priestess of the Lord of Light, about the news, she tells him: 'This war of five kings means nothing.
'The true war lies to the north my king. Death marches on the wall only you can stop him.'
And when the pretender to the Iron Throne decides he wants to kill his most trusted man-at-arms anyway for his treason, she stops him saying: 'You need him. He has a part to play in the war to come.'

Changing his mind, the amused Lord of Dragonstone then points out his old friend should not be so skeptical about the Red Priestess.
He say: 'You see Sir Davos, you've been saved by that fire god you like to mock. You're in his army now.'
The story then picks up with Daenerys Targaryen, who is embraced as a saviour by the freed people of the slave city of Yunkai while her three dragons fly overhead in celebration.
It seems clear the Mother of Dragons, who is the last of the line of Westeros' true royals, will be the key to the land's survival in the face of the White Walker threat.
