They might have been heading to the teddy bear store, but their outfits would have fitted in perfectly in the mosh pit.
And little wonder, with two famous rockers in the family.
Gwen Stefani got a helping hand with her two sons from sister-in-law Storaya Rossdale on Sunday.
Gwen's two sons also matched up with seven-year-old Kingston and four-year-old Zuma both sporting jungle green camouflage fatigue shorts.
Gwen took the family to the Glendale Galleria shopping mall for a visit to the Build-A-Bear workshop to build customized toys.
The No Doubt singer shared a photo on Twitter holding up a stuffed black-and-white stuffed panda with large anime eyes called Harajuku Hugs.
The 43-year-old tweeted a photo of the big panda saying, 'Who knew.'

Soraya, who is the younger sister of Gwen's husband Gavin Rossdale, also wore a rocker chick outfit of blue skinny jeans and a black Nirvana T-shirt.
Kingston opted for a cool black surfer T-shirt, while younger brother Zuma donned a white Avengers tee as they both wore matching shorts.
