The How I Met Your Mother star was all smiles with a mystery new girl as he strolled through West Hollywood Sunday.
As they walked together Jason, 33, cast her admiring glances, while she in turn looked delighted by his attention.
And with a trip to a couple of home store before their low key meal, it seems the two are already comfortable together.
The pair seemed to be setting up home together, buying everything from pillows to kitchen supplies as they visited Bed, Bath And Beyond and Sur Le Table.
The actor formerly dated Brokeback Mountain star Michelle, 32, for almost a year before they split up in February.
It was reported that the couple could not cope with a long distance relationship with Jason refusing to leave LA for Michelle's home town of New York.
She previously dated the late Heath Ledger and has an adorable seven year-old daughter, Matilda, from the relationship.
Michelle meanwhile is now happily dating fashionable New York artist Dustin Yellin, 38, after the pair met in Red Hook, Brooklyn where they both live.
Just this month they were pictured out together with Matilda looking every inch the happy family
