Hands-on dad! Wayne Rooney holds son Kai under one arm and newborn Klay with the other as Coleen looks on during family day out
He might have only been born a few
weeks ago, but he's already been enjoying some boy time with dad Wayne
Rooney and brother Kai.
Newborn Klay had a family day out with the rest of the clan on Tuesday, held my his famous footballer dad with one arm while his three-year-old sibling was tucked under the other one.
Proving what a hands-on dad he is, the 27-year-old expertly juggled his two son as they strolled through Alderley Edge, while wife Coleen watched on.
Clearly besotted with the new
addition to the family, the Manchester United star made sure that he
carried the tiny newborn, who was dressed in light blue.
But his first-born obviously wanted a slice of his father's attention, jumping up into his free arm and trying to get involved.
The diplomatic dad showed his children that he had enough space in his arms for both of them, proving his strength as he walked along.
And little Kai seemed just as interested in his new brother as his parents, bending over to peer down at him as he sat quietly.
But the energetic lad became a bit too much of Wayne as he was forced to put him down, while mum Coleen came rushing over to intervene.
Making the most of the sunny day, Coleen ditched the dark colours in favour of a floaty, floral sundress and pink Chanel sandals.
Although she's coping with the pressure of being a new mum again, the 27-year-old seemed to be wearing a typically well-put together look.
Her dark hair was pulled back
into an intricate knot and she was wearing a full face of make-up,
looking well-rested despite having a two-week-old son.
Later in the day, Wayne spent more time with his little ones as Coleen picked up some things for her husband.
They whizzed round a men's clothing store in Wilmslow outfitting Wayne with some new clothes, including 'eight pairs of shoes', a source told MailOnline.
Coleen and husband Wayne welcomed baby Klay at Liverpool Women's Hospital on May 21.
Wayne had to miss out on some of Klay's early days due to his footballing commitments with the England team, but seems to be making up for it now.
