Single girl about town: TOWIE's Sam Faiers steps out for the first time since Joey Essex split (but she's still wearing her engagement ring)
Fans of The Only Way Is Essex were
left shocked on Wednesday night's show when Joey Essex called off his
engagement to fiancee Sam Faiers.
But it seems single life has already settled in for Sam as she's already hitting the town with a smile on her face to get over it.
Wasting no time at all the 22-year-old headed out on Thursday evening, just 24 hours after the split was made public after days of speculation.
And rather than look
heartbroken, she appeared particularly upbeat as she headed out for a
ladies' night in London with her sister Billie, of course, in tow.
Although she did appear to still be wearing her engagement ring, showing she may be just putting on a brave face as she gets used to the fact she's no longer with her cheeky chappy beau.
Nevertheless she certainly seemed to enjoy her evening as the gaggle of girls headed to DSTRKT in central London.
She looked tanned and fresh from the group TOWIE holiday to Marbella last week.
And Sam ensured she showed it off to the max as she flashed some flesh in a strappy black vest top tucked into a colourful snakeskin print skirt with side split from Lavish Alice.
She completed her look with some black strappy shoes and red nail polish brightening up her talons.
Although she kept the rest of her make up relatively simple and tied her hair back.
And it seems it was the tonic she needed as she had a big grin on her face as she cuddled her girl pals and moved venues.
At the end of the night she
climbed into a taxi and giggled as she chatted on her phone, while an
upbeat Billie joined her along with fellow TOWIE star Ferne McCann.
Joey and Sam got engaged in Dubai just over two months ago but on Wednesday night's show there were tears as they fell prey to the TOWIE engagement curse.
After spending most of their annual Marbella holiday apart, an emotional Joey accused Sam of partying with other men.
They both acknowledged they argued a lot, but despite declaring their love for each other, club promoter Joey decided to end it.
Sam said: 'I'm so disappointed and upset that we haven't spent any time together... Since the engagement all we've done is argue.'
An angry Joey fired back: 'You went to a boy's house party. You're lying. You've just been going out partying.'
