TUNNEL VISION ... Mourinho leads out Schurrle in Ballack testimonial last night

JOSE MOURINHO has made finalising the capture of Andre Schurrle his top priority after taking charge of Chelsea.

The Special One only returned to Stamford Bridge on Monday — yet he has already been in touch with Bayer Leverkusen about finalising the Blues’ Schurrle bid.
Mourinho last night took charge of a World XI in Michael Ballack’s testimonial in Germany.
And following the friendly he held talks with Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller, who bossed the Ballack XI in Leipzig.

Voller said: “Definitely, we have been in touch about it and we have talked to each other about it. But there is nothing to reveal.
“There is interest in the services of Andre Schurrle from Chelsea, but we will have to keep on waiting the progress of those next few days.”
Ballack was sent into retirement in Leipzig with the glittering friendly featuring Germany star Schurrle, Dimitar Berbatov, Didier Drogba and Andre Schevchenko.
The former Chelsea midfielder played a half for each side, with the Ballack XI running out 4-3 winners.
