Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis's unlikely friendship with Princess Beatrice and Dave Clark steps up a gear as they holiday in St Tropez
Celeb-watchers were stunned last
month when they saw Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis
hanging out with Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Dave Clark.
However, it looks the unlikely friends have stepped their acquaintance up a gear after the royal and her boyfriend invited the actors to join them on holiday.
With Mila having the weekend off filming Jupiter Ascending, they jetted from London to Nice to join Beatrice and Dave in nearby St Tropez.
Beatrice and Dave, who have
been dating since 2006, were already holidaying in France and it appears
they may have invited the Americans to join them.
Mila and Ashton were seen boarding a boat at the Le Club 55 beach club and restaurant with Beatrice, Dave and their assorted friends back to the royal's yacht.
Both Mila and Ashton were dressed down in jeans for their leisurely lunch at the popular seaside venue.
The two couples have been
spending lots of time together in recent weeks since Ashton joined Mila
in the capital, where she has been based since April while she films
Jupiter Ascending.
Last Wednesday, the couple joined Dave at Turkish restaurant Ozer for dinner.
Three weeks ago, the pair enjoyed a double date restaurant crawl around the capital, including Duck & Waffle.
While Mila's not filming, she and Ashton have been spotting trying out the various culinary and pubs London has to offer.
Ashton met Dave last year after
the actor bought a space flight on Virgin Galactic, where Beatrice's
boyfriend works in astronaut relations.
A source told Heat magazine: 'Ever since Ashton was chosen to become the 500th space traveller on the Virgin Galactic last year, he’s become friends with Dave, who is head of astronaut relations.
'It isn’t just a superficial friendship, they get on really well, as Dave introduced Bea to Ashton and Ashton introduced Mila to them.
'Mila is impressed with the royal family, respects their tradition and watched every minute of Kate and Wills’ wedding, so being friends with Beatrice is a total head-trip.'
