Hollywood's biggest names flock to honour Mel Brooks at lifetime achievement event... but his mini me grandson Henry steals the show

It was a night to mark veteran star Mel Brook's huge achievement in the film industry.
But it was a touching moment between the 86-year-old and his grandchildren which stole the show on Thursday night.
Posing with little Henry, who wore a tuxedo and fedora to match his famous Grandpa, it was hard to tell who was proudest.

Mel's grand daughter Samantha then joined the two to create a happy family portrait.
The family gathered as Mel received the 41st6 AFI Lifetime Achievement Award at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Mel waved at the cameras and also posed with his famous friends on the red carpet, including Billy Crystal, Amy Yasbeck and Daphne Zuniga.
The event honouring one of the few artists who have received an Oscar, Emmy, Tony and Grammy drew some of Hollywood's heavyweights.

Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese attended wearing his trademark black glasses and an all-black suit ensemble.
He was joined by Oscar winner Cloris Leachman, 87, who starred in three of Mel's movies. She played Frau Blücher in 1974's classic horror spoof Young Frankenstein and also appeared in 1977's High Anxiety and 1981's History Of The World: Part I.
Mel's longtime comedy writing partner Carl Reiner, 91, who was there at the beginning attended the event.
Mel and Carl created the 2000 Year Old Man routine that led to the release of a comedy album that sold more than one million copies and helped propel them to fame.
