High-earning Shia, 26, dug deep as he treated his latest lady friend to a drink from the chic Crave Cafe.
And it seemed to pay off, as the 19-year-old English actress could not stop sucking on her straw as they enjoyed low intensity cardio session by padding the streets.
Information junkie Shia seemed to be stopping off to buy his week's supply of gossip magazines as he perused the shelves of a local newsstand.
The Wall Street 2 actor, who has been undergoing a strenuous exercise regimen in recent weeks, showed off his new look physique in shorts, T-shirt and hiking boots.
Mia meanwhile must have been feeling the heat in a hooded top, beanie hat, leggings and flat shoes.
The pair met after starring together in kinky Lars Von Trier drama Nymphomaniac, which features unsimulated sex scenes.
And it seems they enjoyed working with each other, as they have a couple ever since.
Talking about the film last August, Shia said: 'The movie is what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making.
'For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening.'
The movie tells the story of Joe, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg, who is a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, and it recounts the story of her life from birth to the age of 50.
A host of big names besides Transformers favourite Shia are involved, including Uma Thurman, Stellan Skarsgård and Jamie Bell, and the film is due to be released in December.
