We did it! Attraction were overjoyed to be named Britain's Got Talent winners for 2013
After leaning the news he said: 'Thank you, thank you very much the British public.'
The
winning performance saw the eight-strong group pay tribute to Great
Britain and to the Queen herself, whom they will now perform for at the
Royal Variety Performance.
Jack, 14, joked about coming second and said: 'Runner up I little bit insensitive is it not?'
The moment of truth: Ant & Dec announce that the country's in such a mess, we can't even win Britain's Got Talent
'It's a little bit insensitive': Jack Carroll joked about coming runner-up
Always cracking a joke: Jack took his defeat well and made light of his second place position
He added: 'I’ve had a
great time and it is ace to come second. I’ve tried my best, fair enough cheers to everyone that
voted.'
Richard and Adam,
whose performance was interrupted during the live show on Saturday by a
woman who egged the judging panel, came in third place.
Ant and Dec asked Simon Cowell's thoughts about the result and the music mogul said it was a ' bit of a surprise'.
He added: 'It just shows that the British public welcome people from all over the world.'
Amanda Holden noted that Attraction's performance transcends language.
Attraction shamelessly appeal to Britons' patriotism, thus ensuring we manage to lose Britain's Got Talent to some Hungarians
How do they do that? Amanda was baffled as to
quite how the team made the iconic shapes, like Winston Churchill's face
and cigar. At least we hope that's his cigar
She said: 'Whatever language you speak you understand what they are trying to do.'
After the show Amanda tweeted: 'Wow wow wow #Attraction. Love you all x.'
David Walliams also
posted his thoughts on Twitter and wrote: 'Well done Attraction. Very
worthy winners. What they do is truly magical...'
There were mixed reviews from viewers on Twitter but the conversation was dominated by the egg incident.

The thrower was named as Natalie Holt, who quickly apologised for her actions shortly after the show.
In
a statement released by the show she said: 'I want to apologise to
Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done
anything like this before and in hindsight I have realised it was a
silly thing to do.'
Richard and Adam, who saw their performance interrupted by Natalie said they were disappointed by her actions.

In a statement they
wrote: 'It’s disappointing that someone tried to sabotage our
performance but we’re proud that we made it to the end of our song.
Thanks to everyone for their support. We’ve had a great time.'
American songstress Taylor Swift was joined by Ed Sheeran to perform her latest single Everything Has Changed.

The
live final was kicked off by Pre Skool and the tiny stars put on a
thrilling performance with an electric musical score, that left the
judges gushing.
Simon Cowell seemed so smitten with the youngsters that he said he now wanted 12 children, instead of just one.
Don't get them angry. You won't like them when
they're angry. Dance troupe Pre Skool kick off the Britain's Got Talent
final in kilts and (second left) antlers
He told the troupe: 'You’ve got the best personality of any act we
have. You’ve made me change my mind I don’t want one kid I want 12.'
David Walliams was equally enthused and said: 'Incredible, such a brilliant explosion of energy. You
guys are all brilliant dancers.'
He added: 'Whoever puts all this together is brilliant too.'
Larking around: The children said they would spend the winning on sweets and chocolate if they came first in the show
Simon's smitten: Music mogul Cowell said that he now wants 12 children instead of just one
After the judges had made their comments one little girl asked Simon if the group can go around to his house for tea.
The young talent kept coming as Asanda was next to take to the stage singing Beyoncé's track If I Was A Boy.
Alesha told her: 'You are not normal...I think your voice
by the time you get into a recording studio I can’t wait to hear what your album
is going to sound like, I think you are ready.'
Big voice: Asanda sang Beyoncé's track If I Was A Boy, which blew the judges away and left Amanda comparing her to Willow Smith
Hitmaker in the making: Gabrielle Gardiner, also known as Gabz, performed her own song Lie There
Amanda told her: 'It is just ridiculous, that attitude, you
remind me of Willow Smith.'
Syco boss Simon was left equally impressed, he said: 'This was by a mile the best perform
you have done so far. When I meet you back stage and you are sweet and then you
come out on stage and you change. Forget how old you are, you are a brilliant singer.'
Singer and songwriter Gabz decided to perform another original track called Lie There.
How cheeky: Steve Hewlett was named as the wildcard and his act included puppets of Sinitta and Simon
That's tickled them: Simon invited Sinitta up on stage to help him, judge the act
Her
gamble paid off with Amanda labelling her track an 'incredible song'
before joking that the music was apt for Simon who was always breaking
up with people.
Simon
told her: 'how come you can write songs that within ten seconds we love
them. You wear these funny clothes but they work. I think you are
really cool, I think you have a great personality.'
Alesha
had nothing but praise either and said: You have your own sound which
you created. You are on you way that is fantastic, well done.'
He's a firework: Jordan O'Keefe performed a Katy Perry track and as usual he put his own unusual spin on it
It's a whisky business: During Richard and Adam's performance a woman ran on stage and egged the judges
The wild card was revealed as ventriloquist Steve Hewlett who decided to use puppets of Simon and his ex-girlfriend Sinnita.
Simon
was left in stitches and admitted that while he wasn't sure about the
decision to bring Steve back, his act demonstrated the judges had made
the right choice in bringing him back. Heartthrob Jordan O'Keefe performed Katy Perry's hit Firework adding his own unusual spin to the pop song.
David told him: 'That was a great version of that song, you made us listen to that song, you are a ready made pop star.'
'Thanks for ruining that! Jack Carrol joked about the egging incident in his sketch, showing off his quick wit
Amanda added: 'Every interpretation of these songs makes me listen to them in a completely different way.'
Simon critiqued: 'I’ve got to be honest with you when I heard you were doing that song I wasn’t sure but that was a brilliant version of that song.'
The singing continued with Arisxandra who took on Christina Aguilera's track The Voice Within.

Simon noted that she her confidence grew throughout the song and he said: 'You started off a little bit tentative and you put your foot to the accelerator and it just went bang.'
What a performance! Francine Lewis finished off her routine with a song as Katie Price
Simon told her: 'You’ve raised your game for the final best we have seen, it’s rare that I know every single voice. I think we are seeing a star emerging from the show.'
